My best wishes and congratulations as the East Tennessee Chapter of the Taiwanese Association of America celebrates the annual Taiwanese Americans Heritage Week. I appreciate the sacrifices each of you has made to leave your home and become a part of this great nation, and what a tremendous asset and blessing your dedication and spirit of service is to your community and to your state. Fore more than two centuries, our nation has been strengthened by people like you. Your presence adds to our nation’s illustrious heritage of rich diversity.

My best wishes for your continued success and happiness, and for a wonderful week of celebration.
