LETTERS TO THE VALLEY
TIMES
"Taiwan will be
on losing side again"
One cannot forget the
history: China will massacre Taiwan again.
It was interesting to read the letter "Can't forget
the massacre of Taiwan" from Ken Lin on March 14,
2003. He links China's threat recently to Taiwan,
together with the China's massacre of Taiwan on Feb. 28,
1947.
Many of us are aware of the 228 massacre, but do not
normally relate it to the massacres that are happening
around the world.
When Chang Kai Shek's Chinese troops massacred the
Taiwanese right after World War II (including Feb. 28,
1947 and afterwards), it was exactly the same scenario
as the Nazi massacre of Jews during World War II, and
the racial massacres that are happening in Africa, in
Middle East and China recently.
They all used violence to massacre the other racial or
ethnic groups.
History normally repeats itself. China has already
massacred it's own citizens (Culture revolution),
Tibetan (directly by Hu Jin Tao), and student
demonstrators in Tienanmen Square. China will have no
hesitation in massacring Taiwanese again even on a
larger scale, than the one Chang Kai Shek's Chinese
troops did.
When Taiwan's president Chen hinted recently, to not let
Taiwan become the second Hong Kong; he did not describe
the situation clearly enough, because China did not use
missiles aimed at Hong Kong before it was taken over.
Chen needs clearly state that we cannot let Taiwan
become the scene of the second Holocaust.
