I am writing in response to a letter to the editor which appeared in the August 16th Milwaukee Journal Sebtinel.  I looked in the telephone book to obtain your address and I am hoping you are the same person who wrote the letter.  If not, please accept my apology.

I am writing to send you a copy of a letter I have also sent to the Journal Sentinel.  There is no guarantee that the Journal will run my letter, but I thought it might interest you.  I wrote and sent the letter before reading yours in today's paper.

I just wanted to let you know that there are Americans who understand what is going on and that we are contacting our legislators to obtain a change.  Please continue to express your views to the newspaper and to your legislators.
