Good Decision
I
applaud the Bush administration’s decision to sell the destroyers
and submarines to Taiwan. This is the first step President
Bush can take to help 23 million Taiwanese to defend their
right to express their wish to be free of communist China’s
threat and to remain as a democratic nation.
If
China takes Taiwan, after its repossession of Hong Kong, it
will become a major military and economic power in Asia, with
the ability and desire to intimidate and destroy whatever
is in its way. The recent Chinese downing of the U.S. aircraft
is one example.
Taiwan
is the first line of defense against the Chinese aggression.
